2022 Tennessee State Governor Election Results
Tennessee chose Bill Lee for another four years, re-electing the Republican governor who signed an abortion ban that shifts the burden to the doctor to convince a criminal court that an abortion was needed to save the mother’s life or spare her from irreversible, severe impairment.
“In a Republic, the people decide what happens by choosing leaders whose ideas they like the best. And tonight, evidently all across the country, the people have spoken clearly,” Lee said. “Our ideas have resonated with people from one end of the state to the other.”
